Whatisfriendship?Theanswersmaybedifferent.Butonethingisclearthatfriendshipisthemostimportantingredientintherecipeoflife.Wecannotlivewithoutfriendshipjustaswecannotsurvivewithoutairandwater.Friendshipgivesusafeelingofsecurityandwarmth,andfriendshipencouragesustogoaheadallthetime.
Everyoneneedsfriendsandiseagertogetfriendship.Whenwefeelhappy,wecanshareourhappinesswithfriends.Whenwefeelgloomy,friendswillcomfortus.Ifwearearrogant,ourfriendscanpersuadeus,andtheycanmakeusconfidentandbravewhenwearediscouraged.
Friendshipisvaluable.Itcantouchyourheartandgiveyouhope.Manypeopleareproudofhavingagoodfriend.Truefriendshipmustbesincereandmustnothaveconditions.Ifyouhelpyourfriendsfornoreasonbutsimplybecausetheyareyourfriends,thismeansthatyouregardyourfriendsasyourself.Thisistruefriends.
