Establishedin1997,SichuanUniversityofMediaandCommunications (formerRadioandFilmCollegeofChengduUniversityofTechnology)islocated inthewesternhigh-techdevelopmentareaofChengdu.SUMCoccupiesaround330acresin extent.Thecollegecampuscontainsadministrativeoffices,teachingbuildings, collegelibraries,studios,auditorium,students’dormitoriesandmulti-purpose labs.SUMChasastudentpopulationofmorethan20,000comingfromdifferent provinces,citiesandautonomousregions.SUMCwashighlypraisedbytheexperts fromEducationInstructionCommitteeundertheMinistryofEducation.
